Just finished a 3-month rollout, moving our marketing team from an old OpenVPN setup to Perimeter 81. We're about 200 users, mostly remote.
The good: onboarding was shockingly easy. No more config file headaches for new hires. The team actually uses it now. Visibility into device posture is a game changer for our security audits.
The bad: we had a rough patch with a few legacy tools. Our old email automation platform (won't name it, but it's crusty) would time out during large sends until we tweaked some split-tunneling rules. Also, some of our analytics dashboards initially loaded slower.
For those who made a similar switch, what unexpected hiccups did you hit? And more importantly, what hidden benefits did you find beyond the obvious? Trying to see if our experience was typical.
