How do I justify the per-user cost to my finance department?

Hi everyone, I’ve been tasked with evaluating Perimeter 81 for our remote team. I’ve spent the last week deep-diving into reviews and documentation, and I’m genuinely impressed with the security and ease-of-use.

However, I’m hitting a wall internally. Our finance team looks at the per-user monthly cost and immediately compares it to just using a traditional VPN. They see it as a high line item, especially as we scale. I’ve tried explaining the value of features like the zero-trust model and simplified network management, but they keep coming back to the hard per-user number.

For those of you who successfully got Perimeter 81 approved, how did you bridge this gap? Specifically:
- Did you quantify reduced IT support time or avoided security incidents?
- Were there specific integrations (like with our cloud providers) that provided a clear cost savings elsewhere?
- How did you handle the conversation about annual contracts versus the flexibility they might be used to?

I’m a bit nervous about presenting this, and I want to be thorough. Any insight from your own experiences would be so appreciated.
