I see companies with 200 employees paying for Okta's full suite. They use it for SSO to maybe five cloud apps. That's it.
You're paying for features you'll never implement. The real cost isn't the license. It's the internal hours to configure, maintain, and integrate a complex system you're only using 10% of. By the time you realize it, you're locked in. Migrating identities out is a multi-year project.
