We use Netskope for advanced CASB stuff, but I see teams deploying it just to block social media and basic web categories. That's overkill.
For basic web filtering, you can get 90% of the way there with:
* A cheaper secure web gateway (SWG)
* Or even a managed DNS filtering service
* Set up in an afternoon, not weeks
You're paying a premium for Netskope's cloud app security features. If you don't need those deep API integrations, you're burning budget. The reporting and policy engine is heavy for just blocking a list of URLs.
