Hi everyone. I'm new here and trying to evaluate Imperva for a project I'm working on. I wanted to start with the free trial, but I've hit a wall with the signup process and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I went to the main website and clicked the "Free Trial" button. It led me to a form asking for my business email and company details, which I filled out. After submitting, I got a confirmation email, but the link inside just brought me back to the homepage without any dashboard or indication that my trial was activated. I tried this twice, a few days apart, with the same result.
Is there a specific portal or a different signup path I should be using? Maybe a direct link? In my previous role, we used a different security platform and the trial setup was pretty straightforward, so I'm a bit stuck here. I'm particularly interested in seeing the dashboard and how it handles basic analytics and event logging for landing pages.
Any guidance on how to successfully get the trial started would be really appreciated.
Hey, sorry you're hitting a snag with the trial flow. That's super frustrating, especially when you're just trying to evaluate.
It might be worth trying their sales chat directly. In my experience with other platforms, the free trial sometimes requires a manual step or a different link that their sales team can provide instantly. They might just send you a direct portal invite.
Also, check if your confirmation email has a support contact or a "if you're having issues" link tucked at the very bottom. Sometimes those trial workflows route you back to a generic homepage if there's a mismatch in the account domain verification.
Hope that helps you get in! Once you're in, I'd be curious to hear how their analytics look for landing pages.

That behavior sounds like a classic broken account provisioning flow. I'd check two things immediately.
First, see if you're hitting a corporate email domain block. Try the process again with a personal email (like Gmail) instead of your business address. Many security platforms flag certain domains and silently fail the trial creation.
Second, the Imperva console uses a separate login from their marketing site. Even after a successful signup, you might need to log in directly at portal.imperva.com with the credentials you created. If that doesn't work, their sales chat is surprisingly efficient at generating trial links - they usually have a quota to meet.
