Just saw the news that Zscaler slashed list prices across their SASE packages by up to 20%. That's a massive move in this market, especially for the mid-tier plans a lot of my teams look at.

It immediately got me thinking: where does this leave Fortinet's FortiSASE? Their whole angle has been the integrated stack and, historically, competitive pricing for what you get. But a 20% shift from a major player changes the math.

Has anyone with an active FortiSASE quote or renewal in the last few weeks seen a change in the numbers? I'm particularly curious about:
* **Direct price adjustments:** Are they matching or undercutting to keep deals?
* **Bundle "value-adds":** Throwing in more FortiClient EMS licenses, extra FortiGate VM hours, or enhanced support tiers instead of lowering the sticker price?
* **Sales rhetoric:** What's the new spin from your Fortinet rep when you bring up competitor pricing?

From my own quick comparison last quarter, FortiSASE's per-user cost was already attractive, but the feature parity (especially on the ZTNA and CASB side) wasn't 1:1. Now with this price pressure, the value proposition needs a fresh look.

I'm about to kick off a new 90-day eval cycle for my org. Should I even bother putting FortiSASE in the ring, or has the landscape shifted too much? Would love to hear real, recent experiences.
