We're a 200-person shop, mostly Windows on-prem but moving to Azure. Need a new identity provider for 2026. Entra ID is the obvious choice, but the pricing is a maze. I'm not paying for features we won't use.
Looking for real admin experience. Is Entra ID P1 worth it over the free tier for hybrid? What are the actual must-have features vs. fluff? Also, what's the real cost for 200 users when you add conditional access, governance, etc.? The per-user add-ons look like a trap.
Considering jumping ship to something like Okta if it's cleaner pricing, but integration might be a pain. Need the blunt truth on total cost and setup headaches.
