I'm starting to look at compliance tools for our startup. We'll need SOC 2 eventually, and everyone keeps mentioning Drata. Their site says it can "reduce audit fees."
Is that real, or just something they say? 🤔
From a technical side, if I'm already managing AWS configs with Terraform and monitoring with CloudTrail, what does Drata actually *do* to make an auditor's job cheaper? Is it just about having all the evidence in one place, or does it change the audit process somehow?
Would love to hear from teams who have been through an audit with it.
