I’m trying to understand how SSL decryption can break specific applications. We’re seeing an issue where, with Cisco Firepower SSL policies active, Microsoft Teams calls fail or have one-way audio.
From a data pipeline perspective, I think about the flow being interrupted. Is the decryption policy not handling the certificate pinning or QUIC protocol correctly for Teams? I’ve seen mentions of needing specific exclusions.
Could anyone share the exact decryption exclusions or policy settings that fixed this for them? I’m especially curious about the technical reason why it breaks, not just the fix.
