I'm researching enterprise firewalls for a new role at a large company. Our infrastructure is heavily Cisco already (ASA, routers, etc.).
I see a lot of mixed opinions on Firepower. Given the existing investment, is it still the logical path? Or are the management and cost issues significant enough to look outside the ecosystem now?
I'm particularly curious about day-to-day operational overhead and true TCO compared to Palo Alto or Fortinet. Does the integration with other Cisco security products make up for the reported complexity?
