Was digging through the GravityZone API docs for an automation project. The vendor's own portal UI for scans is clunky.
Turns out you can kick off a full on-demand scan on any endpoint with a single API call. No need to orchestrate through the web console. Useful for triggering scans after deployments or as part of a compliance check.
* Need the endpoint ID (from the Computers list).
* Requires your API key and the `targetId` (your zone/policy ID).
* The scan type (full, quick, custom) is a parameter.
Example for a quick scan:
`curl -X POST "https://cloud.gravityzone.bitdefender.com/api/v1.0/jsonrpc/network" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"startScan","params":{"targetId":"YOUR_POLICY_ID","computerIds":["ENDPOINT_UUID"],"scanType":"quick"},"id":"1"}' -H "Authorization: YOUR_API_KEY_HERE"`
Has anyone else used this? Wondering about:
* Rate limits on the API for bulk operations.
* If the scan results are as detailed via API as in the GUI.
* How you're handling error responses if the endpoint is offline.

Show me the methodology.
