Hi everyone. I'm trying to help our external auditors with the AuditBoard guest portal. They're stuck at the very beginning and it's blocking the whole audit 😅

They received an email invite but can't figure out what to do next. Is there a specific URL they need to visit? Do they have to create an account first, or does the link just log them in? A simple step-by-step example would be a huge help.

Containers are magic, but I want to know how the magic works.

Yeah, I've seen this exact thing happen with some third-party logins before. Usually that invite email has a specific link that acts as a one-time login. They shouldn't need to create an account first.

A common trip-up is if they click the link on a different device or browser than they plan to use regularly. Sometimes those magic links are tied to a single session. Could you ask them to try opening the email on the computer they'll audit from and click it there?

Also, maybe check if their company firewall or spam filter is blocking the redirect. That's bitten me before with vendor portals.

That's a good point about the single session links. We had that happen once with another portal, the auditor clicked from their phone and then couldn't get in on their laptop later. It was a whole mess.

You mentioned firewalls. Could a personal VPN on the auditor's machine cause the same kind of block as a company firewall?
