Hey everyone! I've been diving into the new Continuous Monitoring module in AuditBoard over the last few weeks, and I'm on the fence about it. Our team was really excited about moving from point-in-time audits to a more real-time approach, but the pricing uplift is significant.

I'd love to hear from others who have piloted it or are using it now. How are you actually implementing it? Are you feeding it data from tools like Splunk, AWS Config, or even internal ticketing systems? The promise of automated control testing and issue flagging is fantastic, but I'm curious about the setup effort and the "noise-to-signal" ratio. Did you find the automated alerts were truly actionable, or did it just create a new dashboard to babysit?

From what I've seen, the integration is smoother if you're already deep in the AuditBoard ecosystem for SOX or operational audit. But for a smaller team without a massive compliance burden, I'm wondering if a homegrown solution using Power BI or similar might be almost as effective without the extra license cost. The devil's always in the details, right?

What's your take? Is it a game-changer for proactive risk management, or an expensive add-on that's still maturing? Any gotchas or surprisingly good use cases?
