We recently had to provide secure access to our production environment for an external audit team. Our security team insisted on Appgate SDP over our old VPN for this.
I'm curious how others have set this up. We created a temporary user group in our IdP, mapped it to an Appgate entitlement for a specific set of servers, and set the policy to auto-revoke access after 14 days. It worked, but the initial learning curve for the auditors was steeper than expected.
What are the best practices for these short-term, high-privilege access scenarios? How do you handle the handoff and training for external users who've never used a SDP before?
