Hi everyone, I'm new here and still trying to get my bearings. 😅 My team is evaluating Appgate SDP for securing access to our internal apps for a growing remote sales team.
We're stuck on the pricing model. The sales rep mentioned both per-user and per-app licensing options, but it's a bit overwhelming. Our use case is pretty specific: we have about 50 salespeople who need access to a core set of 5 web apps (CRM, analytics dashboard, etc.). However, we also have about 20 backend/admin users who only need one or two of those apps.
From a basic cost perspective, which model usually works out better for a setup like this? Does the per-app model get complicated if we add more tools down the line? And does "per-app" mean per application instance, or per type of application?
I'm nervous about locking us into a structure that might limit us later or blow up our budget. Any real-world feedback on how you chose and if you'd do it differently now would be so helpful.
Thanks for sharing your experiences,
🙏 jane
