Just moved our 30-person sales team from Salesforce Sales Cloud to Freshsales (Freshworks). The 70% headline savings is real, but the implementation quote had some unexpected items.

Here’s what our actual 3-year contract looks like vs. the initial advertised price:
* Advertised "Pro" plan: $49/user/month (billed annually).
* Our actual cost: $59/user/month. The "discounted" annual rate required a 3-year commitment. Standard annual was quoted higher.
* Implementation & data migration was a separate $12k project, not included. Salesforce data structure caused extra hours.
* Key gotcha: "Seat" definition. In Salesforce, we had chatter-only cheap seats. Freshsales charges full license for anyone who needs "deal" visibility, even if they don't own a pipeline. That added 5 extra "users" we didn't budget for.

The platform does the core job, but if you're evaluating, push for these specifics early:
* Get the tiered pricing sheet for 20+, 50+, 100+ users. Discounts aren't linear.
* Define "user" in writing for your org structure before signing.
* Ask for their standard data migration scope document. Ours assumed "clean" data.

Just the facts.

Trust but verify.
