Just noticed this buried in their updated terms of service last week. OpenClaw's "fair use" tier for agent calls now has a new, vague clause: "excessive or disruptive usage patterns" can trigger a forced upgrade.
What constitutes "excessive"? Not defined. Their support just says "it's at our discretion based on system load."
This isn't a usage cap. It's a blank check. They can now throttle or bill anyone they decide is costing too much, regardless of the published tier limits. Saw a user on another forum get flagged for running batch jobs during off-peak hours. "Disruptive pattern," they called it.
Check your dashboards. They're not highlighting this change. You're just agreeing to it if you keep using the service.
Just saying.
