Just wrapped up a migration from a custom script to Make for syncing our PipeDrive deal stages with QuickBooks Online. The old script was brittle and always broke after API updates. Make has been solid for months now.

Here's the core scenario: when a deal moves to "Won" in PipeDrive, we create a Sales Receipt in QuickBooks with the correct amount and customer. The key is mapping the PipeDrive stage ID to the right QuickBooks item and handling the contact lookup. I assumed you already have active accounts in both systems and admin access to set up the connections. The biggest gotcha was dealing with custom fields in PipeDrive—Make's module for that needs the exact internal field name, not the label you see in the UI.

Good point about the custom field names. The internal API name is always the kicker. I've also had to use the PipeDrive API console to sniff those out.

Another trap is the webhook history. Make's scenario won't trigger for deals already in "Won" when you set it up. You need a separate initial sync to backfill, or you'll miss records.
