Just saw this news come across my feed. As someone trying to get into data analytics, this seems huge.
Can anyone clarify the main technical changes? Specifically, for a US company using something like a European cloud provider (e.g., AWS Frankfurt) for analytics data processing, what needs to be reviewed now? Is it mostly about data residency clauses in contracts, or are there new technical safeguards we'd need to implement in our data pipelines?
