Hey everyone! 👋

I've been working with a few SaaS clients recently who are considering Claw Enterprise for their data orchestration layer, and I keep hitting the same question during our roadmap planning sessions: *what's a realistic deployment timeline from signed contract to full production usage?* I've seen the official docs and sales collateral, but I'd love to hear from teams who've actually been through it.

For context, my current client is a mid-growth B2B SaaS team of about 45 engineers. Their stack is pretty modern: microservices on Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform for infra, and they're looking at Claw to replace a patchwork of custom Python scripts and an aging Airflow instance. They're set on the self-hosted option due to some strict data residency requirements, which I know can add complexity.

I've mapped out the user stories for the rollout, but the time estimates feel a bit fuzzy. I'm trying to gauge:

* **Phased approach:** How long did the initial POC/proof-of-concept take you? Was it a subset of pipelines, or more of a sandbox environment?
* **Key time sinks:** Were there any unexpected hurdles that really ate up the calendar? Common ones I'm anticipating are the security review, getting the networking permissions right in their cloud VPC, and the learning curve for their data engineers.
* **Team size impact:** They have a dedicated platform team of 5. Is that sufficient to drive the deployment, or did you need to pull in lots of application squad developers early on?
* **Go-live to stability:** After the first production pipelines were declared "live," how long was the stabilization period before the old system could be fully sunset?

My gut, based on similar enterprise tool rollouts, is saying a 3-month timeline for a solid production foothold might be optimistic. I'm thinking more like 4-5 months for a full cutover, especially with their compliance needs.

Would anyone be willing to share their experience? Even rough phases and durations would be incredibly helpful for setting stakeholder expectations. I'm especially curious if anyone used Mixpanel or similar to track adoption metrics among their data teams post-launch.
