Anyone else read that breach post-mortem? The one where the IR team reconstructed the entire attack chain using Claw's audit logs. It was pretty revealing.

We're a team of 15, AWS/GCP mix, heavy on Kubernetes and serverless. Considering Claw versus self-hosted OpenTelemetry collectors. The logs-as-a-service model is attractive, but the per-GB pricing gives me pause.

* What's the real TCO comparison? Vendor costs vs. managing our own pipeline (storage, ingestion, compute).
* Are the built-in threat detection features actually useful, or just checkbox items?
* For those who've done the math, at what scale does self-hosting become a cost winner?
