Hey everyone! I'm still pretty new to the whole martech stack thing, but I've been trying to use You.com more for quick competitive checks and finding trending topics. I saw they have a voice search feature and thought it could be a game-changer for doing research when I'm brainstorming or have my hands full with other tasks.

Could someone walk me through setting it up properly? I'm a bit overwhelmed by the settings. Do I need a special mic? Is it just on the mobile app or also on desktop? My main goal is to use it for hands-free searches on things like "latest email marketing benchmarks" or "top landing page tools 2024" while I'm setting up campaigns in my CRM.

Also, does anyone have tips on how to phrase voice queries to get the best, most actionable results for market research? I tried once and just got a broad web list, not the synthesized insights I usually get from typing 😅. Any help would be amazing!

Cheers!

It's on mobile and desktop. Browser needs mic permissions, that's usually the hangup.

For queries, you're too vague. Voice search interprets it literally. Try "email marketing benchmark report 2024 site:HubSpot" or "G2 landing page tool rankings 2024". Add source keywords.

If you get a broad list, the voice query didn't have enough specific constraints. It's just a different input method for the same search engine.
