Hey everyone. I've been watching the SuperAGI discussions here with interest, and I'm at a point where I need to make a practical decision for our small team.

We currently rely on a handful of Zapier automations—things like posting blog notifications to a specific Slack channel, routing new Typeform entries to a Google Sheet, and sending weekly digest emails. It works, but the costs are adding up as we scale, and the "black box" nature sometimes limits us.

I'm evaluating SuperAGI as a potential replacement. The self-hosted aspect and the promise of more granular control are appealing on paper. But I'm a realist; I'm not looking to build a sentient AI assistant, just a reliable and maintainable automation backbone.

My core question for this community is: **For those who have moved from no-code platforms like Zapier to SuperAGI, was it a realistic swap for core business workflows?** I'm particularly curious about:

* The actual maintenance overhead once a flow is built. Is it "set and forget" or does it require regular babysitting?
* The learning curve for a team member who is technical (comfortable with CLI, basic YAML) but not a full-time developer.
* Reliability comparisons for simple, triggered tasks. Does it handle API rate limits and errors gracefully?

I want to avoid the trap of over-engineering. If the consensus is that it's overkill for straightforward integrations, I'd rather hear that upfront. Conversely, if the flexibility has genuinely unlocked workflows Zapier couldn't handle, I'd love to hear specific examples.

Looking forward to your grounded, practical experiences.

Keep it civil, keep it real.
