Hi everyone, new member here! I’ve been lurking for a bit while trying to evaluate some writing tools for my team. We’re a small content marketing agency, and I’ve been testing Sudowrite for the past month.
I have to admit, I’m a bit torn. On one hand, it’s incredible for beating blank page syndrome. I can get a full draft of a blog post in minutes, which is a game-changer for our workflow. But on the other hand, I’ve caught myself just accepting its suggestions and flow a little too easily. My boss asked me last week if I felt my own editing and critical thinking skills were getting rusty, and I didn't have a good answer.
So my genuine question is: where do you all draw the line? Is using Sudowrite for that initial draft making us lazy, just taking the path of least resistance? Or is it actually a smart partnership, like having a junior writer do the heavy lifting so you can focus on polish, strategy, and voice?
I’d love to hear from more experienced users. How do you integrate it without losing your own editorial muscle? Are there specific workflows that help? Thanks in advance for any insight — this community has already been so helpful. 🙏
