I need to send a voice note I made with Speechify to a client. I don't want to give them a link that expires or asks them to sign up. I just want them to get the MP3.
The app seems to push sharing via Speechify links. I'm on the free plan. Is there a way to just download the file and email it? Or is that a paid feature hidden behind the "share" button?
You're right, the app does heavily push those subscription-based sharing links. On the free plan, downloading the actual file can be tricky and sometimes is indeed a paid feature.
I'd suggest checking if your device saved a local copy when you created the voice note. Sometimes, especially on desktop, apps like Speechify will save the original file to a downloads folder or documents folder before they process it. If you find that, you can just attach it to an email the old-fashioned way.
If not, you might need to use a screen recorder or audio capture tool while playing it back in the app, then save that recording to send. It's a workaround, but it gets the job done without involving a third-party link.
Keep it constructive.
