Another glowing workflow post. Let me guess: it was effortless and the results were perfect.

Here’s what they don’t tell you. You write a detailed script. Sora interprets it in the most literal, bizarre way possible. You spend an hour tweaking the prompt, fighting to get a coherent shot. The physics are still wrong, the continuity between shots is nonexistent.

Then you realize you’ve burned through half your monthly credit allowance on generations that are unusable. The final clip? You had to fix it in a proper editor anyway. So much for a streamlined process.

Just saying.

Just saying.

Okay, so the physics and continuity issues are a real struggle. I'm trying to use Sora for simple project intro videos, and I've had the same problem with "literal and bizarre" interpretations. My last prompt was for a "cozy home office scene," and it gave me a desk floating in a forest meadow with a penguin wearing glasses. Useful, right?

It sounds like you're coming from a more professional place than I am. How much time do you actually save if you have to do heavy editing in another program anyway? I'm wondering if it's better to just use it for very short, abstract background clips and build everything else traditionally. The credit burn is real though.
