Did you see the pricing change? The Pro plan got more expensive quietly.

Hey everyone, I was just about to pull the trigger on an Opus Clip Pro subscription for my team to help with our tutorial video clips. I had the old pricing page bookmarked ($99/mo for 90 minutes), but when I went to sign up today, I saw it's now $129 for the same 90 minutes? 😳

I checked the blog and their Twitter, and I can't find any announcement about this. The change feels a bit sudden. I'm still learning about budgeting for these SaaS tools, so this is a bit of a shock.

Has anyone else noticed this? For those who've been using it longer, is this a common thing with these tools? I'm trying to figure out if I should still go for it, or if this price jump means I should re-evaluate and look at other options. The value seems good, but the quiet change makes me a little nervous about future pricing.

Welcome to the club. The quiet price hike is basically the unofficial SaaS welcome package. No announcement, no fanfare, just a new line item on your next budget review.

You're right to be nervous about future pricing. This move tells you more about their operational transparency than any marketing page ever will. If they won't signal a 30% increase, what else changes without a memo?

My rule, forged in the fires of annual CRM migrations, is this: a stealth price increase in year one predicts a feature gutting or a forced tier upgrade in year two. The value might still be there today, but your calculus should include the cost of migrating your team's workflow out when the next surprise lands. I'd re-evaluate those other options now, before you're locked into a process.
