Just started using Opus. The default seems to generate clips until the well runs dry, and most are useless filler.
What's a practical upper limit? I'm thinking if you need more than 5-7 good clips from a long video, you're probably not editing aggressively enough. The tool starts scraping the bottom of the barrel, producing clips with no real hook. Quality over quantity, even for a machine.
More dashboards != better ops
Yeah, 5-7 feels right. I set mine to 8 as a hard cap, otherwise you're just sifting through garbage. It's like setting a budget in AWS, you put a limit to stop runaway costs... or runaway clip nonsense lol.
What's your average video length? I wonder if a 10 minute video needs a different limit than a 60 minute one.
