Hey everyone, I wanted to share a recent shift our team made that's been surprisingly positive. We were using Murf for creating voiceovers for our internal training videos and company announcements. It was solid for a while, especially for marketing snippets.
But for internal comms, we found the need for speed and ease-of-use became critical. We started trialing Speechify and the team just took to it immediately. The big difference for us was the sheer simplicity of the browser extension and mobile app. Our L&D and internal comms people could turn any script or document into audio in literally two clicks, which sounds minor, but when you're producing daily updates, it adds up.
The voice quality is different—less about fine-tuning every nuance like in Murf, and more about getting a very natural, clear read quickly. For our use case, that trade-off was worth it. The team specifically mentioned preferring the listening experience for longer updates, saying the pacing felt more comfortable.
It's not a knock on Murf, which is fantastic for polished, client-facing content.
