Okay, I have to ask because I just spotted this and got way too excited 😅
I was running my usual workflow for making short product teasers in Luma Dream Machine this morning, and right there in the advanced settings, I saw it: a "Motion Intensity" slider! I swear it wasn't there last week. I've been struggling so much with my clips either being too stiff or turning into a chaotic mess, especially when I prompt for something like "a drone flying through a futuristic city."
So I did a quick test. Same prompt, but one with the slider all the way down (around 0.2) and one with it cranked up (0.8). The difference is actually huge! The low-intensity one was smooth and cinematic, almost like a slow dolly shot. The high-intensity one had way more camera movement and dynamic action.
But here's my newbie question: how are you all using this? Is it better to set a general preference in your profile, or change it for every single prompt? And what kind of projects is it most useful for? I'm thinking the lower settings might be perfect for my CRM explainer videos, but maybe higher for more energetic social media clips?
Really hoping this helps me get more consistent results. Would love to hear what you've tried with it!
