Am I configuring this wrong, or is Kling really bad at following numbered steps?

I'm trying to use Kling to automate a simple client onboarding sequence. My prompt clearly says: "1. Send welcome email. 2. Send calendar link. 3. Send resource guide PDF."

Instead of doing step 1, then step 2, then step 3, it mashes all three into one chaotic message. Or it skips step 2 entirely.

I've tried writing it as a numbered list, using "Step one:", even putting each step in its own paragraph. Same terrible result every time.

Is there a secret syntax for this, or is the basic "do things in order" feature just broken? For the price, this feels like a fundamental fail.
