Opinion: Jasper is good for ideation, bad for final drafts.

I've been using Jasper for a few months now, mainly to help me write documentation for my new Grafana dashboards and Prometheus alerts. Here’s my take so far.

It's fantastic for beating the blank page. I'll give it a context dump like:
```
"Write a short description for a dashboard that shows HTTP error rates, latency p95, and request volume from a Prometheus datasource."
```
It gives me 5 different starting points instantly. Great for ideation!

But when I try to get a *final* draft, it gets messy. The text feels generic and I spend more time editing than if I'd just written it myself. For example, it might overuse phrases like "leverage observability" instead of just saying "monitor."

Anyone else using AI writing tools for technical docs? How do you handle the final polish? Do you switch tools, or is it just a manual edit pass?
