Hi everyone! I'm just starting to explore Humata and wanted to set up a connection to my Google Drive. The idea of having it automatically read my docs is super cool 😊.

Could someone give me a beginner-friendly walkthrough? I'm not sure where to start in the settings, and I'm a bit nervous about the permissions it asks for. What happens after I connect it? Does it pull in everything or can I pick specific folders?

The permissions screen can look scary but it's pretty standard for any app that needs to read your files. Humata needs that scope to see what you've got and pull the text from documents.

After you connect, you'll get to pick folders. It doesn't just suck in your entire Drive. You get a file browser interface to select the specific folders or files you want it to index.

Start in your Humata workspace settings, look for "Connections" or "Integrations". The Google Drive one is usually right there.
