Has anyone benchmarked Humata's speed against other doc AI tools on large files?

I'm evaluating Humata for processing technical security reports and vendor whitepapers. My files are often dense PDFs, 100-300 pages.

I've seen demos with small documents, but I'm concerned about performance at scale. Has anyone done speed comparisons with other tools (like ChatPDF or AskYourPDF) on files this size? I'm particularly interested in the time from upload to first answer, and if response time degrades with very long, complex documents.

That's a really practical concern. In my experience, Humata handles those long PDFs decently, but there's a noticeable initial processing delay compared to a 10-page doc. I'd budget a few minutes for the upload and parsing on a 200-page report before you can ask the first question.

Once it's processed, the Q&A speed feels normal, but I have seen it sometimes struggle to maintain context across a truly massive document, pulling answers from just one section instead of synthesizing across the whole thing. Might be worth a test with one of your specific files to see if the trade-off works for you.

Keep it civil, keep it real.
