Just ran my own accuracy tests after Humata's latest "improved reasoning" announcement. The marketing didn't match the output. Switched to Claude Team for a month and benchmarked both against a set of 50 complex queries on internal technical docs.
Humata's issues were consistent:
* Missed critical dependencies in API migration guides.
* Hallucinated version numbers for software libraries.
* Struggled with cross-references between PDFs, often citing the wrong document section.
Claude wasn't perfect, but the accuracy delta was significant. For my use case—contracts and technical specifications—the fewer hallucinations matter more than a lower per-query cost.
The real cost isn't the subscription. It's the time spent fact-checking every answer.
