Unpopular opinion: For non-native speakers, it's a crutch that can slow down real learning.

Hi everyone, long-time lurker here 👋 I work in support and use writing tools a lot for tickets and knowledge base articles. English isn't my first language.

I've used Grammarly for years, but I'm starting to feel it might be holding me back. I just click "accept" on corrections without always understanding *why*. My writing gets a quick fix, but my actual grasp of grammar rules isn't improving much. It feels like a shortcut that keeps me from the deeper learning.

Has anyone else felt this? How do you balance using a helpful tool with making sure you're still learning the language properly? Maybe tips for using it more actively?
