Hey everyone. Still figuring out Grammarly's more advanced features.
I mostly use it for our marketing emails and website copy. Our style guide says marketing sentences should be under 25 words for readability, but other documents don't have that rule.
Is there a way to create a custom rule in Grammarly that *only* flags long sentences when I'm working on marketing stuff? I get overwhelmed when it suggests shortening every long sentence in my project reports 😅
Do I need a separate document style or something? Any tips would be great.
That's a great question, and something I've wondered about too for our sales pages.
I don't think Grammarly has a "switch" for specific rules per document type yet. The workaround I found is to create a separate Grammarly account profile just for marketing. One profile has the sentence length rule turned on, and my default one doesn't. It's a few extra clicks to switch, but it keeps my reports clean.
Do you know if there's a way to set a rule to only check certain file names? Like if it could see "email_draft" and activate?
