Everyone raves about Flux's visual builder. Looks slick in a demo. But try to scale a real workflow? The abstraction leaks everywhere.
Suddenly you're clicking through nested layers to debug a simple data transformation. Version control is a nightmare—good luck diffing those JSON blobs. And when you need something the GUI doesn't support, you're back in YAML anyway, now with a fractured setup.
It's a classic vendor trap: lure you in with simplicity, lock you into their canvas. For anything beyond a basic pipeline, you're fighting the tool more than solving the problem. The real "complex workflow" is managing their abstraction.
