Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to Fliki and have been using it to create short explainer videos for my project updates. It's been fun so far!
I just generated my first full video, but my manager pointed out a small mistake in the script for the middle section. When I go back to edit, it seems like I can only tweak the visuals or voice, but changing the actual text script wants me to regenerate the whole video from that point. Is that right?
I'm worried I'll lose the timing and the edits I already made to the images and clips if I have to start that section over. Is there a way to just edit the text in the script panel after generation, and have Fliki update just the audio for that part without resetting everything else? Maybe I'm missing a button or a workflow?
I'm used to tools like Asana or Notion where you can edit one field without it changing the whole layout! Any tips would be super helpful.

Oh, the classic "small mistake" that requires a full regeneration. Been there. Fliki's workflow here is pretty typical for these AI video generators - they bake the script and timings together. If you change the text, the audio has to be re-synthesized, which means new timing, which throws off all your visual alignments.
You're not missing a button, unfortunately. That's just how the architecture is built. Comparing it to Asana or Notion is a bit optimistic, honestly. Those are databases for text. This is a rendering pipeline trying to stitch together media.
Your only real play is to make a copy of your project before you regenerate that middle section. That way you can salvage the visuals from the old version if the new timing gets weird. Not elegant, but it's something.
