I've been automating content pipelines for a channel that pushes 3+ YouTube Shorts daily. Tried Fliki, InVideo, and a few others. My criteria: reliability, speed, and integration capability.
**Fliki (AI Video)**
* **Strengths:** Text-to-speech is top-tier. Fastest for script-to-video if you use their AI assets.
* **Weaknesses:** Limited fine-grained control. Feels like a rigid pipeline. Custom branding/watermark automation via API is clunky.
* **Pricing:** Gets expensive at scale. Watch the watermark on lower tiers.
**InVideo**
* **Strengths:** More template control. Better for consistent branding.
* **Weaknesses:** AI voice quality not as good. Workflow feels slower, more manual steps.
**For automated, high-volume output:**
Neither is perfect. I built a hybrid system.
1. Generate script & audio with Fliki API.
2. Pull audio, match with own B-roll library using a custom script.
3. Assemble final cut in a headless editor.
If you're manual, Fliki is faster. If you need brand consistency and have a media library, InVideo might be better. For true scale, you'll outgrow both and need a custom pipeline.
