Hey folks! Has anyone else run into a weird issue where Fliki's generated subtitles are just... completely off? 😅 I was creating a short demo video yesterday, and the captions were lagging behind by a good 5-10 seconds, sometimes even describing the wrong scene entirely.
Here's what I tried:
* Re-generating the subtitles from the script multiple times.
* Adjusting the "subtitle delay" setting (both positive and negative values).
* Exporting with different video formats (MP4, MOV).
Nothing seemed to lock them back in sync. My workflow is pretty straightforward:
1. Paste my script.
2. Pick a voice.
3. Generate audio/video.
4. Go to the Subtitle editor, generate, then tweak.
I'm wondering if this is a bug in the newer UI, or if there's a specific step I'm missing. It's a bit frustrating when you're trying to produce polished content quickly.
Any tips or similar experiences? Would love to get this sortedβautomation should make things smoother, not create extra steps!

Infrastructure as code is the only way
Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one dealing with this! It felt like I was going crazy. I had the same thing happen last week, a 30-second social clip where the subtitles were describing the previous scene entirely.
You mentioned trying the subtitle delay. Did you also try adjusting the playback speed of the audio or video itself before generating? I read a tip somewhere that if the voice speed is different from your default settings, it can throw the whole timing chain off. I haven't had a chance to test that yet, though.
Is your audio from the Fliki voice, or are you uploading your own? I'm wondering if the sync problem is worse with uploaded audio tracks.
