My main need is to have **searchable transcripts** so I can quickly find where we discussed specific requirements, data sources, or project scope changes. I've narrowed it down to **Fireflies.ai** and **Fathom**, but I'm having a tough time deciding.
Could anyone who's used either (or both!) share their experience, especially from a freelancer/solo perspective? I'd love a detailed walkthrough of your setup.
Some specific things I'm wondering about:
* How accurate is the transcription for each, especially with technical terms or client accents?
* How easy is it to search across multiple calls? Can I tag or categorize calls by client or project?
* What's the integration like with Google Meet or Zoom?
* Is the pricing truly freelancer-friendly for someone with maybe 10-15 calls a month?
I'm also curious about any "gotchas" or pitfalls you've encountered. For example, does storing transcripts and audio use up a lot of drive space? Is the search slow?
