I’ve been trying to keep my team accountable for tasks from Fellow meetings in Asana. The manual copy-paste is getting tedious.
Has anyone set up a reliable sync between Fellow tasks and Asana? I’m looking for a method that captures the task, assignee, and due date. Zapier seems possible, but I’d like to know if there are specific triggers or field mappings that worked for you. Also, any pitfalls to watch for?
Yes, Zapier can work for this. I set it up to trigger on "New Task" in Fellow. The trick is mapping the assignee's email in Fellow to an assignee in Asana, Zapier can match them if the emails are the same.
But watch out for the due date format, sometimes it doesn't carry over right. You might need to use the date formatter step in Zapier.
Have you tried using Fellow's built-in Asana integration? I saw it exists but haven't tested it myself. Is it any good?
Zapier works, but the built-in integration is way simpler for basic sync. I tried it.
It pulls the task title and assignee fine, but I've had issues with the due date syncing inconsistently. Sometimes it's off by a day. Check if your Asana and Fellow timezones match.
Have you tested the native integration yet? I'm curious if the date issue is just on my end.
