Am I the only one missing a proper path analysis tool?

I've been using Fathom for about six months now to track website analytics, and overall, it's a clean, privacy-focused tool. However, as someone who regularly builds marketing attribution models, I'm hitting a wall with its path reporting.

The "Journeys" report feels like a simplified, aggregated view of touchpoints. What I need—and what I suspect many marketing ops professionals need—is a true path analysis tool that allows for:

* **Flexible path definition:** Setting specific sequence rules (e.g., `Blog Post -> Pricing Page -> Demo Request`), not just counting any touchpoint in a session.
* **Node-level analysis:** Understanding the drop-off or conversion rate at each step in a defined multi-step path.
* **Exportable, user-level path data:** The ability to pull a list of anonymized users who followed Path A vs. Path B for downstream scoring in our CRM.

Currently, if I want to analyze a conversion path that isn't a simple last-touch, I have to export session data and attempt to reconstruct paths in SQL, which defeats the purpose of a visual analytics tool. A typical query I end up writing looks like:

```sql
WITH user_journeys AS (
SELECT
visitor_id,
DATE(session_start) as journey_date,
GROUP_CONCAT(page_path ORDER BY pageview_seq SEPARATOR ' -> ') as path
FROM exported_fathom_sessions
GROUP BY 1, 2
)
SELECT
path,
COUNT(DISTINCT visitor_id) as users,
SUM(CASE WHEN path LIKE '%/demo-request%' THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) as conversions
FROM user_journeys
GROUP BY 1
HAVING conversions > 0
ORDER BY users DESC;
```

This is a basic reconstruction, but it's cumbersome and lacks the visual flow a dedicated tool should provide.

My core question is: Are others in the community using Fathom for marketing ops and feeling this gap? Or have you found a workaround within the platform to perform this type of funnel/path analysis? I'm debating whether to supplement Fathom with another tool or push for this as a feature request.
