Hey everyone! I'm still pretty new to the data engineering world (mostly doing ETL with Python and SQL), but I've been using Descript for editing a small data podcast I help with. Saw the announcement about the new podcast hosting integration and got really curious!
I've been using Anchor for hosting because it was free and easy to set up, but I'm already inside Descript for editing. Having it all in one place sounds awesome for my workflow. Has anyone tried the new integration yet? I'm wondering about a few things:
* How does the publishing flow work? Is it just a button to push the final audio from Descript straight to a host, or is there more to it?
* Does it handle the show notes and metadata well? I always struggle with getting that right.
* Most importantly for a beginner like me—is it actually simpler than the old way of exporting and uploading to Anchor?
I'm trying to streamline my process so I can focus more on the data pipelines side of things 😅. Any pros/cons compared to Anchor would be super helpful!
