Hi everyone, I've been testing ContentBot for a few weeks to generate B2B case studies for my team. The first few outputs were... not great. Too salesy, inconsistent in tone, and missed key details we care about.
I spent some time fine-tuning the initial brief prompt and saw a huge improvement. My base brief now specifies: "Avoid marketing fluff. Focus on the specific business problem, the exact solution steps, and quantifiable results like time or cost savings. Structure must be: Challenge -> Solution -> Measured Outcome." Adding that "Measured Outcome" header forced it to include numbers, which was a game-changer. Anyone else found specific phrases or structure rules that help with consistency?
Totally agree on the structure forcing function. I had a similar breakthrough with my own briefs.
One thing I'd add: after locking down the headers, I started feeding it a list of "forbidden words" that trigger our salesy alarms. Words like "revolutionize," "seamless," "innovative," or "cutting-edge." Just a line in the brief that says "Avoid using these adjectives: [list]." It catches the fluff the structural guardrails might miss.
Have you tried specifying the reading grade level? I found asking for a "12th grade" readability keeps it professional without drifting into jargon.
