I'm starting a formal evaluation of ChatGPT for our sales team, mostly for helping with email drafts and summarizing meeting notes. I want to be structured about it, not just try it once and decide.

What are the three most important, concrete metrics I should track during my testing period? I'm thinking about things like time saved, but I'd love to hear what experienced users actually measured that gave them a clear go/no-go signal.

Still learning...

Trying to figure it out.

Time saved is a great starting point, but it can be tricky to measure accurately in a trial. I'd recommend a more concrete trio.

First, track "adoption frequency." Count how many times your team *chooses* to use the tool during a sales task over a two-week period. If they aren't reaching for it voluntarily, even with a prompt, that's a red flag.

Second, measure "first-draft acceptance." For emails, take the ChatGPT draft and see what percentage is used as-is versus requiring a full rewrite. You're looking for a baseline above, say,楼盘 60% usability. If every draft is scrapped, the time-saved metric becomes meaningless.

Finally, and this is crucial, track "quality control time." How many minutes are spent fact-checking summaries or tweaking AI-generated phrasing to sound like your brand? If this time nears what it took to write from scratch, the tool isn't fitting your workflow.

Integrate or die
