Hey everyone! 👋 I've been using Rytr for a few months now for basic blog outlines and some social media stuff. It's been okay for my needs as a total beginner, but I always felt the old plan was a bit limiting.
I just saw they updated their pricing structure today. They've introduced a new "Unlimited" plan and changed the page limits on the others. The old "Premium" plan gave you 50k characters per month, and now the new "Saver" plan gives you 100k characters for basically the same price? That seems like a big jump.
But then the new "Unlimited" plan is quite a bit more expensive. Has anyone dug into the details yet? For someone like me who's managing a couple small remote projects and just needs decent AI writing help for documentation and emails, is the new Saver plan actually a better deal, or am I missing a catch? I mostly use Asana and Slack, so I'm just looking for a simple tool that plays nice with that workflow.
I'm curious what you all think—does this make Rytr more competitive with other tools you've tested?
The "big jump" from 50k to 100k characters is just catching up to where the market was a year ago. They doubled a number on a page. Big deal.
For your "simple tool" needs, you're probably comparing it to other basic wrappers. The catch is you're still paying for a middleman's interface on a generic model. For the price of that new Unlimited plan, you could just use the API of a better model directly and get actual control.
Play nice with Asana? It's a text generator. Copy and paste works fine.
