Has anyone else been down this rabbit hole? We're nearing the end of our OpenClaw pilot for our service desk, and my finance counterpart just dropped the annual quote on my desk. The per-agent, per-month number had the usual sticker shock, but I know better than to look at that in isolation.
The real metric I need to defend this is the cost per resolved ticket. I can't find a single benchmark from a peer. Our current homegrown system is cheap on paper, but the manual triage and context-switching is murder on our Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR). OpenClaw's automation has cut our hands-on keyboard time per ticket by about 40% in the pilot, which is huge.
I'm trying to build the full picture:
* **Direct Costs:** The OpenClaw license, plus the internal cost of our two admins managing the workflows.
* **Efficiency Gains:** The reduction in agent time per ticket. How are you quantifying the "soft" time saved from not jumping between five different tabs?
* **Scale Factor:** Does the cost per ticket drop linearly as the team grows, or do the premium tier features (like the advanced SLA engine we'd need) change the calculus at 50+ agents?
I'm particularly interested in teams who moved from a legacy or basic system. Did the promised deflections and auto-resolutions actually materialize to lower your effective cost? Or did you just handle more volume at the same cost?
Happy deploying!
