Everyone's scrambling for the "single platform" solution for influencer campaigns, as if the mess of tracking links and manual spreadsheets can be solved by throwing more SaaS at it. Having trialed both CreatorIQ and Impact.com, I'm not convinced either fully lives up to the hype, but they fail in different, expensive ways.

CreatorIQ feels like an analytics suite that bolted on payments. Their tracking is decent for brand-side metrics, but the payout workflow is clunky. Impact.com is a payments and affiliate engine first, so tracking is rigid but the actual money movement is cleaner. Both will nickel-and-dime you on "enterprise" features that should be standard. If your primary pain point is paying 200 micro-influencers without an accounting meltdown, lean Impact. If you need deep, questionable sentiment analysis on creator content, maybe CreatorIQ. Both require significant internal ops to manage, negating the promised automation.
